A few things Backoffice runs for you.
Upload an invoice, Backoffice reads it, matches it to your POS, splits it into storage and accounting. The back office runs while you run the floor.
Templates fill themselves from employee data. Drafted, signed, and stored without a single printer.
Tasks turn into XP. XP turns into levels. Levels turn into rewards you decide. Your team shows up to win, not just to clock in.

Is "workforce management" the right category for what a restaurant actually needs?
Most workforce tools were built for warehouses and call centres. They cover shifts and hours. They don't cover suppliers, contracts, compliance, training, or margins. Backoffice covers the whole operation.
What's the difference between Backoffice and running five different tools that each do one thing?
The average restaurant runs on five or more disconnected systems. Five logins, five bills, five places data goes to die. Backoffice is one system, so your schedule knows your contracts, your invoices know your POS, and your numbers are live.
Why does Backoffice charge per location instead of per employee?
Per-employee pricing punishes you for hiring. Every new hire is another line on the bill, and seasonal spikes double it. Backoffice charges per location, so turnover and casual workers don't change what you pay.
If a spreadsheet has been working for us, what does Backoffice actually change?
A spreadsheet is a snapshot that goes stale the moment you send it. It doesn't enforce your rules or survive the person who built it. Backoffice is a live system: the schedule updates in real time, compliance is handled, and the data stays with the business.
How long does setup take, and how much of it falls on us?
You can start the trial in a minute and set up a full location in a day. Adding staff, schedules, and contracts is self-serve, and there's a free plan to run it side-by-side with what you use today.
Does this work if we're one location with a small team, or is it built for chains?
Both. The free plan covers a single location with up to 10 staff: schedules, employee profiles, and the staff mobile app. Paid plans add POS integration, analytics, contracts, training, and AI as you grow into them.
We run multiple locations, sometimes across different countries. Can Backoffice handle that cleanly?
Yes. Backoffice supports multi-location and multi-business structures natively. Owners see a combined view across every venue or drill into each one independently, with labour cost, margins, and performance rolled up at the group level.
What happens to our data if we stop using Backoffice?
Your data is yours. You can export schedules, contracts, time records, and reports at any time. If you cancel, we hold your data for the legal retention period and then delete it.
Is Backoffice GDPR-compliant, and how does it handle Lithuanian labour law?
Data is stored in the EU, encrypted at rest and in transit, and GDPR-compliant by default. Contracts, working time records, and employee documentation follow Lithuanian labour law out of the box, signed with Smart-ID or Mobile-ID and stored for the required retention period.
